The Everest Madness

That’s it, this photo is real… We are in the very middle of the high season to summit the highest mountain in the world; Everest 8848m[1]. 10 Things You Need To Know About Nepal

10 Things You Need To Know About Nepal

There are numerous things that we can say about Nepal. Here we mention some essential highlights about this country that doesn’t stop surprising us. 10 Essential Things About Nepal If you come to Nepal to do a trek in the Himalaya, to visit some Hindu and Buddhist temples, to go for a safari in the […]

My trip to Nepal was incredible. Every single corner moved me: the people, the cities, the villages, temples and specially the mountains. Some of my best memories of my life are in the Annapurna Trek. We were very lucky to find Berta. She knows the country and the traditions very well and she transmit her passion for every place in every step. Apart from walking through paradisiac places, we learned to greet the locals in Nepali and to share great moments with them. During our stay in the mountain lodges, we were not just guests, but we always got to know the locals living in them. We learned to cook Momos, observed the chickens with the porter that wore Britney Spears t-shirt and spoke with the locals about their adventures in the mountains. Berta taught us how to remove the leeches from our ankles and to overcome difficult moments with the monsoon season. An experience absolutely unforgettable that I hope to repeat very soon.

Walking amoungst giants in awe, holding my tender cheeks from laughing too much with our local hosts, the resonating vibrations of the Tengboche monks chanting taking my breathe away and that absolutely blissful moment watching the sun creep over the peak of Everest are some of the many life changing moments Nepal gave me. Thank you Berta and InspireU Adventures for the experience of a lifetime. Learn, laugh, love, live.

We have wonderful memories of our trekking with Berta and her team in the Annapurna Base Camp! The experience was unique, especially because of Berta’s energy and because of her will to make from the trek a great walk with a life time friend, helping us in every moment, no matter how hard it was sometimes. Her knowledge of the place and region and of the people is huge and creates great moments. We still remember those moments playing cards with the Sherpas, or having Dal Bhat in a kitchen of some lodge. We will definitely repeat!

A friend of mine and I decided to do a trek within the Annapurna region, to Poon Hill. We hired a guide, Berta, recommended by a friend of ours. During 4 days we enjoyed not only the incredible Annapurna Himalaya Range but also the Nepali culture and the locals. Eventhough the weather conditions were not the best ones (monsoon time), Berta was lovely and she knew how to guide us without problem and we connected since the very first time. We spent very enjoyable and fun times during the trek and she even taught us some Nepali words. It was an incredible experience that I would love to repeat. It is worth if you have a guide that not only shows you the path, but also the many experiences that there are within it. I will recommend it 100%, we will be back very soon!
