January: Maghi Maghe Sankranti, Sonam Losar (Tibetan New Year)

February: Maha Shivaratri, Basanta Panchami (Shree Panchami).

Mid February to mid March: Fagu Poornima (Holi).

April: Nepali New Year , Bisket Jatra, Sindoor Jatra, Ram Navami, Ghode Jatra (horse festival), Chaite Dashain.

May: Buddha Jayanti, 29th Everest Day, 29th Everest Marathon, Teechi (Tiji), Ubhouli, Red Machhendranath Jatra.

June: Ropain (Mud Festival), Himalayan Travel Mart.

July: Janai Purnima.

August: Gai Jatra, Krishna Ashtami, Kushe Aunsi, Haritalika Teej, Janai Poornima and Rakshya Bandhan, Nag Panchami, Gathan-Muga (Ghantakarna), Gaura Parba.

September: Indra Jatra, 18th Constitution Day, Father’s Day (Gokarna Aunsi)

September – October: Dashain.

October: Tihar, Mha Puja, Chhath Parva,Nepal Sambat

November: Mani Rimdu (in Tengboche, Everest Region)

December: Yomari Punhi, Tamu Lhosar, Bivah Panchami, Bala Chaturdasi.
