Álvaro was born in Barcelona and lives in Nepal. He has experience in many regions of the Himalayas for more than a decade. He is a mountain tour leader expert, as well as a tour leader for motorbike tours around the highest roads in the world. He is a lover of Asian culture and religions and a big lover of nature.
He is curious and studies the different ethnic groups that live in this special part of the world. He is totally adjusted to this environment and the Himalayan mountains are where Álvaro feels most comfortable.
As per all InspireU Adventures Team philosophy, his mission is to take you to one of the most beautiful places on this Earth so you can enjoy a unique life experience.
Álvaro also manages an NGO in which he carries on international cooperation projects in the rural communities of Nepali mountain regions. Ie. construction of earthquake-proof school buildings, educational programs for kids, and professional educational programs for adults as well as humanitarian assistance in emergency situations.
He speaks Spanish, Catalan, English, and Nepali.
