TREK HIGHLIGHTS
A Nepal trek that includes most of the Highlights of the entire Sagarmatha National Park. We discover the astonishing views of Everest Range from a privileged point of view (Gokyo Ri 5357m), the beauty of the Gokyo Lakes surrounded by gigantic peaks and the Renjo La Pass, and the magic of one of the highest Buddhist Monastery in the world with a very powerful history. Rebuilt twice due to an earthquake(1934) and a fire(1989), Tengboche Monastery was strategically built on top of a hill overseeing the Solokhumbu Valley.
We contemplate some of the highest peaks in the world and in the region: (Everest (8848m), Lhotse (8516m), Makalu(8463m), Cho Oyu (8201m), Nuptse (7864m), Pumori (7165m), Ama Dablam (6814m)(Check our Ama Dablam Base Camp Trek), Kangtega (6783m), Thamserku (6618)…)
Mingle in the Sherpa culture as you walk through the nature of the Himalayas. The Yeti steps are present in the legends (or not…) of the locals.
Gokyo Lakes is one of the most popular treks for its outstanding natural beauties. The path towards Gokyo offers a variety of landscapes, from Rhododendron forests and beautiful waterfalls, to rocky terrain with less vegetation ending on a paradise where the contrast of the Dudh Pokhari (Gokyo Lake) and the mountains surrounding it can be compared with the most beautiful painting. Something that everyone should see at least once in their lifetime. You will get inspired and may feel overwhelmed by so much beauty of nature and culture.
