Covering approximately 1710 square meters, Langtang National Park was officially gazetted in 1976. Situated in the central Himalayan region of Nepal, with its southern border lying about 30 kilometers north of Kathmandu. It contains the greatest range of vegetation as it’s area encompasses both subtropical and alpine zones. Altogether some 1000 plant species, 160 bird species, and 30 mammal species have been identified in the National Park.
This area was greatly affected after the Earthquake that shook Nepal on the 25th of April 2015. There is history in every step, a story behind each look, and each rock that we leave behind. So many emotions will awake our hearts and open our souls to a new perspective of life.
We can’t wait to show you what the Langtang National Park has to offer. It will start in Syapru Besi and soon we will find ourselves surrounded by the exuberant deep forests where bamboo and Rhododendron (the national flower of Nepal) grow. We will find the Langur monkey along the way, and we will see the popular beehives hanging on the steep rocks from where the expert honey hunters climb with handmade ropes and ladders to collect the most delicious honey in Nepal. Our Tour “Searching for the Red Panda”, totally exclusive for this trek, is a lifetime experience.
In addition of living a great cultural experience, we can see the majestic peaks of the Himalayas of Langtang (Langtang Lirung 7227m, Langtang II, Urking Kangari, Baden Powell Scout Peak, Naya Kanga, Pico Yala …).
This magic Trek surrounded by the Himalayas has the purpose of taking you on an Inner Journey where you can find yourself and can achieve a state of high consciousness, serenity, happiness, and inner peace.
You will come back to your home with a new consciousness, new energy, and a new discipline.
“In the mountains, worldly attachments are left behind, and the absence of material distractions, we are opened up to spiritual thought. We should be attempting to carry the spiritual experience of the mountains with us everywhere.”
Jamling Tenzing Norgay (1965. Sherpa mountain climber. Son of Tenzing Norgay)

TREK HIGHLIGHTS:
The Langtang National Park is amongst our favorite regions to recommend to our clients when they want to do trekking in Nepal. Not only because of the spectacular views of one of the most wonderful corners of the Himalayas, but especially because of the people, the culture, and the tradition that live in this area.
The hearts and landscape were greatly affected by the earthquake on the 25th of April 2015. There is history in every step, a story behind each eye we meet and behind every rock that we leave behind in our path. So many emotions will awake your hearts and open your spirits to a new perspective on life.
Langtang National Park is located in the Himalayan range to the North of Kathmandu. The trek will start in Syapru Besi, and soon we find ourselves wrapped up in the luscious and deep forests, where bamboo flourishes. One day we casually come across the Langur monkey. On another, we see beehives amongst the top of cliffs, where bee hunters climb ropes and ladders scarcely protected. They harvest some of the most flavourful, and also some very unique honey of Nepal.
On the second trek day, the Langtang Valley opens as out of a funnel with breathtaking views of Himalayan peaks (Langtang Lirung 7227m, Langtang II, Urking Kangari, Baden Powell Scout Peak, Naya Kanga, Yala Peak…). We arrive in Kyanjin Gumba on the third day, where we will spend an extra day exploring the surroundings and enjoying the local gastronomy protected by the big mountains of the Langtang National Park.
Prepare to have wonderful tasty curd and cheese from the villagers!

An inspirational trip that will take your breath away. Langtang National Park is one of our favorite regions. Away from crowded areas, we get immersed in the heart of the Himalaya. We will participate in the culture, tradition and local life in a very authentic way.
