ABOUT NAR PHU VALLEY TREK

A very special experience where traditions and cultures are extremely well preserved. Residents of the Nar Phu Valley still use ancient techniques and lifestyle practices. It is a cultural protected area that was only open to tourism as of 2003.

This Nepal Trek is the opportunity to get surrounded by a very different big geographical landscape; from deep forests to desertic valleys similar to the one found in Mustang or Tibet. Life in these valleys can be very hard because of the weather conditions. A vastly different climate from the classical Annapurna Circuit, more similar to that of the Tibetan plateau on the other side of the great Himalayan Range.

Villagers grow potatoes and barley and weave blankets and clothing made out of their sheeps, goats and yaks wool.

Annapurna Magic Circuit Trek

  • This Nepal trekking covers the north part of Annapurna Range and the west south part. We hike crossing the Thorong La Pass all the way to Poon Hill to contemplate from the South the Annapurna Range.

This is the opportunity to get surrounded by numerous types of vegetation and geographical landscapes belonging to Nepal, from the thick pine, oak and rhododendron forests, to dry valleys comparable to Mustang. Crossing suspension bridges and passing by water falls, to terraced fields cultivating potatoes, buck wheat, maize or cabbage.

The way of Annapurna Circuit will also enchant you with a variety of animals along the way. Annapurna Circuit Short Trek

The memorable beauty of Ghandruk village will captivate you through all your senses. The traditional houses and rhythm of life of this village will transport you to the authentic rural world of the locals of the Annapurna Region.

Get immersed in the Gurung culture. Gurung Shamanism is one of the oldest religion in Nepal, where each village has their own local deities. Our way will cross the wonderful forest, and terraced fields as we approach the land of the Annapurnas. We are immersed in the rural world of the Gurung community and we don’t miss astonishing views to big giants of the Himalayas.

During the trek, we have the privilege to contemplate Machhapuchhre, a very special mountain for the locals. So sacred it as never been climbed to its summit. And Annapurna South will show splendorous above the hills.

Enjoy taking a relaxing warm bath in the Hot Springs (at Jhinu Danda) while contemplating the Modi river right next to you. A peaceful magic moment, surrounded by beautiful nature.

This is the moment to get immersed in the Gurung culture. Absolutely astonishing views of the Himalayan giants are a gift for our eyes and our senses in this magical trek.

The experience being surrounded by the biggest mountains of the Annapurna range is something you will never be able to forget. Be prepared to trek through the valley of the Modi river accompanied by spectacular nature.

During the trek, we have the privilege to contemplate Machhapuchhre, a very special and sacred mountain that cannot be climbed.

We start the adventure with a 2-hour drive from Pokhara to Nayapul. Our trekking will take us first to Ghandruk, one of the most beautiful and well-preserved villages of the region. Passing by various suspension bridges along our journeys, we will arrive in Annapurna Base Camp surrounded by a ring of giant mountains. The reward is served this is one of our best trekkings in Nepal!
