  • Delicious food and delightful cheese and curd locally made.
  • Walking through a diversity of landscapes: from deep forest and narrow paths between high hills, to open landscape surrounded by all Langtang main Himalayan Mountains.

  • Challenging trek: good fitness levels is required.

The Langtang National Park is one of our favourite treks to recommend to all our clients. Not only because of the spectacular views of some of the most wonderful corners of the Himalaya, but also because of the people, the locals, the culture, the tradition and the wonderful hearts that live in.

This area that was very affected by the earthquake on the 25th of April 2015. There is history in every step, there is a story behind each eye and behind each rock we overcome in our path. So many emotions will awake your heartbeats and open your spirits to a new life experience.

Langtang National Park is located in the Himalayan range North of Kathmandu. The trek is a complete overview of the Park; extended version of “The Magic Kyanjin” Trek. Unlike the “Magic Kyanjin Trek”, “Gosaikunda Paradise” ends very close to the city of Kathmandu. Appart from enjoying all the experience that you can have in the shorter version, this trek continues up the hill towards Kathmandu Valley passing by high mountain passes, where we are able to get astonished by the beauty of the Gosaikunda lakes.

The adventure is served, and we cannot wait to show you what Langtang National Park has to offer. The trek will start in Syapru Besi, and soon we find ourselves wrapped up in the luscious and deep forests, where bamboo flourishes. One day we casually come across the Langur monkey. On another, we see bee hives amongst the top of cliffs, where bee hunters climb ropes and ladders scarcely protected. They harvest some the most flavourful, and also some very unique honey of Nepal.

Appart from enjoying the lifestyle of the locals, and get to try delicious cheese and curd made from them, we will get to see the majestic Himalayan peaks of Langtang (Langtang Lirung 7227m, Langtang II, Urking Kangari, Baden Powell Scout Peak, Naya Kanga, Yala Peak…). And will explore the paradisiac Lake of Gosaikunda. Prepare to have wonderful tasty curd and cheese from the villagers too!
