ABOUT NAR PHU VALLEY TREK

A very special experience where traditions and cultures are extremely well preserved. Residents of the Nar Phu Valley still use ancient techniques and lifestyle practices. It is a cultural protected area that was only open to tourism as of 2003.

This Nepal Trek is the opportunity to get surrounded by a very different big geographical landscape; from deep forests to desertic valleys similar to the one found in Mustang or Tibet. Life in these valleys can be very hard because of the weather conditions. A vastly different climate from the classical Annapurna Circuit, more similar to that of the Tibetan plateau on the other side of the great Himalayan Range.

Villagers grow potatoes and barley and weave blankets and clothing made out of their sheeps, goats and yaks wool.

In this trek, you will get to see the spectacular Annapurna Range. Annapurna I, II, III and IV, Lamjung Himal, Gangapurna, Tilicho Peak, and Manaslu from Dharapani Village.
